  • Nannies can help with homework, readers and can ferry children back and forth to activities such as swimming, music, sport and other appointments.
  • Nannies can be asked to fill out a communications diary, noting eating/feeding habits, toileting patterns, developmental milestones, naughty or nice behaviours, fun and interesting activities undertaken, concerns and events that the parents should be aware of.
  • Nannies can prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, morning tea, afternoon tea and dinner for the children as needed.
  • Nannies can clean up kitchen after meals, unload, load and fire up the dishwasher.
  • Nannies can undertake domestic duties relating to the children, for example, children’s washing, ironing and wardrobe management. Stripping and changing the children’s bed linen.
  • If time permits Nannies can throw a mop or vacuum round in the crawl play areas as needed, run the odd errand, take messages, do the odd spot of shopping, manage the toy and story book areas.
  • Nannies can prepare school uniforms for the next day, help with unloading school bags and place notices in the communications folder.
  • Nannies can bath/shower and change the children as required.

Basically Nannies can step in where the parents leave off, providing love, care, nurturing, support and kindness.
