Annie

Annie Sargood nominated for Telstra business woman of the yearAnnie Sargood nominated for Telstra business woman of the year... chose to end her career in Fashion, Merchandising and Business Management to become the proud mother of two gorgeous children, Lachlan and Jessica, now 8 and 10 years of age and a naughty little dog named ‘Larly’ who loves spending her days at the office next to (or on) Annie’s Desk. She lives with her darling children and her extremely handsome partner Randall in Brighton. Annie spends most of her time with her children but assists with administration, promotion, marketing, training, payroll and personnel management as the General Manager. Annie knows well the anguish that comes with leaving loved ones for any time and regularly relies on the excellence of ‘Armadale Sitters’ personnel. She has recently moved from Armadale to Bayside and is enjoying exploring the area, finding new parks and playgrounds for the children to play. She loves her job and gets much pleasure out of helping families with their home help needs.

Liz

... is our casual office assistant and Elderly Care supervisor, she is working hard with Annie to develop the Elderly Care part of the business and loves the challenge. She assists our team and has an innate ability to just take the bull by the horns and get what needs doing, done. Liz reference checks all of the incoming applicants and is a super star when it comes to weeding out the good from the bad. Liz grew up in Brisbane and married a Brisbane boy ‘Tony’ and moved to Melbourne in 2000. Liz has three wonderful boys, Stephen, Scott and Tom who are all busy moving into adult life, they are forever shocking Liz with their antics. As you can imagine Liz is extremely experienced in running a frantically busy household and shows great empathy and understanding to all our busy clients. Liz ran a childcare centre in Brisbane for 6yrs prior to moving to Melbourne, she has worked in the customer service industry for many years running a children’s shoe department and the has been involved in the aged care industry. She is a fun, bright, passionate lady, who is a great listener, but certainly knows how to have a good gasbag too. Lizzy has been with the agency for 4 years and will no doubt be here for many many more.

Carmel

... is our recruitment super star, she selects, screens, interviews and inducts all of our Carers. Carmel is the nose that knows, she makes brilliant choices when determining who should represent the agency. She is a qualified teacher and has recently returned from a 3 month trip around Australia with her family. She lives in Malvern with her gorgeous hubby Ian and children Angus and Charlotte, they also have two very naughty little dogs names Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Carmel is the consummate professional and takes enormous pride in selecting the best of the best for our clients to interview. She has a very dry and witty sense of humour which keeps us all on our toes. Carmel is the kind of person who dots her “I’s” and crosses her “T’s”, you can always trust that the job will get done and get done really well. Carmel joined Armadale Sitters in 2005 and seems to stick with us all through thick and thin.
