Armadale Sitters is owned and operated by a passionate Mother-Daughter team, Chris and Annie Sargood, who launched in 1999, initially as a hobby. However, they found the demand was so great that they set themselves the challenge of becoming “Melbourne's leading in-home care provider”.

They have proudly accepted “two business excellence awards from Stonnington Council” and are Australia's ONLY Nanny Agency to be accredited by “The Australian Council for Children & Youth Organizations” (who strive to protect children) which was established in 2001 with the goal of developing standards and a transparent accreditation process for organizations working with children and young people.

Chris and Annie pride themselves in providing exemplary in home care, providing only carers that they would have care for their own families. They understand the pressures and needs of life.

Annie has two adorable children and a German Shepherd. She works and manages a busy household and she insists on having a social life as well as being a mum and has used many of the wonderful carers available. You can count on her to lend an empathetic ear and troubleshoot to find a solution.

Chris is a mother, grandmother and King Charles Cavalier Spaniel fanatic. She hand picks the carers that represent her agency and really cares about the clients, their families and the carers that make Armadale Sitters what it is today.
